The Department of Health and Human Services offers a Certified Food Manager course developed by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP). Certified Food Manager Certificate and re-certification program fees are $160.00 per person. The 8-hour class includes a textbook, examination, and certificate of completion.
All courses are held from 9:00am – 5:00pm at the Danbury Police Department Community Room located at 375 Main St, Danbury, CT 06810, unless noted below.
Classes scheduled for the dates listed below will be held at City Hall, located at 155 Deer Hill Ave., Danbury, CT 06810:
Please note that you are required to bring:
• government issued photo ID
• two #2 pencils
• lunch and/or snacks for the day
• all beverages must be in containers with a lid
Payment is required no later than 3 days before the class. Checks are to be made payable to “City of Danbury.”
Course materials can be picked up at City Hall at the time of payment. Please read the handouts before coming to the class.
