Living in the Northeast means putting up with bitter cold temperatures and even during the warmer parts of the year the weather can quickly change from perfectly clear skies to a downpour. With such conditions it can be frustrating to be an athlete in our area. Instead of competing in the cold or having to postpone games due to weather, Danbury residents have the opportunity to solve those issues at Danbury Sports Dome.
The Danbury Sports Dome features a 3.5 acre field under a 90 foot high climate-controlled dome, the largest on the East Coast. The field can host a range of sports for anything from competitions to practices and special events. The dome also has a track membership available for anyone looking for an indoor space to walk, run, or perform conditioning drills.
You can join a league if you want to compete or if you have a group that just wants to have fun on the field, the dome can meet your needs. There are soccer, softball, and lacrosse leagues, as well as opportunities to rent the fields for your own team or group.
The Danbury Sports Dome is a great asset to the City of Danbury, providing residents with an indoor sports facility that encourages community athleticism.
