CrossFit is a constantly varied, high-intensity training method. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements done in a way that can maximize the amount of work done in the shortest amount of time. The more work you do in less time = the more intense the effort! By constantly varying the program, your body won’t adapt to the same routine. The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness program that creates repeatable results. The program can challenge any committed individual, regardless of experience.
At CrossFit Danbury, each member of the coaching staff will provide you with guidance on the best exercise routine that works for you in a group and in the individual setting. Their method is based on 3 major health pillars: physical, social, and mental. The environment that CrossFit Danbury will provide you with is made in order to enrich those three elements. First and foremost, the team strives to educate their members on various methods of improving those three components. The coaching staff and many of their members, have a passion for helping others achieve their goals. Members are guided through a well thought out exercise routine, surrounded by a community of like-minded, hardworking people who bring positive energy to the class, and there is an effort of constant support built for one another, whether it be during your workout or in your life.
Lou’s mission and passion for this business is to educate and motivate. He helps others focus not only on themselves, but on those around them because of how important close relationships can be for your wellbeing. Lou is a Danbury local with a B.S. in Health and Exercise Studies from WestConn and a M.A.T. in Physical Education. His goal now is to help and inspire the Danbury community, and eventually bring that narrative into the school system.

Classes and clinics are available with focuses on weightlifting, mobility, and team training, as well as nutrition and food journaling. A personal training session can help you to identify your fitness goals, assess your movement, and design a program that can help you achieve those goals as quickly as possible.
