City Hall Modified Hours

As you may be aware, the State of CT has declared a Public Health Emergency in response to COVID-19. In order to continue to serve the public while maintaining the health and safety of our staff and visitors, City Hall is taking the following precautions until further notice:

  • Residents and visitors must call ahead and schedule an appointment with a department before entering any City Hall office. Open departments are listed below. Appointments are available between 10am – 4pm.
  • No walk-ins will be taken at this time.
  • Departments will be providing essential services only. For example, if your issue can be resolved via phone or email, staff will assist you remotely.
  • Employment applications for the Human Resources Department can be placed in the drop box by the front door. Applications will be available in the lobby.

The Danbury Probate Court is closed, however you may call the Court at 203-797-4521 during usual office hours, Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Nonessential hearings will happen by phone or be postponed.
