Citizens Government Academy 2019

Mayor Boughton’s Citizens Government Academy is an immersive 9-week program that allows residents and property owners a unique inside look at the inner workings of various city departments.

The 2019 Fall Class will run every Monday night 6-8pm from September 9 – November 4 (there will be no class on October 14th).

Mayor Boughton created this program so that residents and property owners can get a better understanding of our local government and become more involved in the City.

Participants will get an inside look through presentations from department heads and through tours of the Danbury Fire Department, Police Department, Public Works Facility, and the Danbury Museum and Historical Society.

The first session will be held at City Hall in the Council Chambers on the 3rd floor.
