COVID-19 Vaccination

COVID-19 Vaccinations Locations

We understand the importance of staying vigilant in the face of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. While the state-funded COVID-19 vaccination site has concluded its operations at the end of June, we want to emphasize that it is crucial for residents to remain up to date with their COVID-19 vaccines. To facilitate this, we encourage you to explore alternative vaccination options available within your community.

  • Local Pharmacies: Your Convenient Vaccination Destination

Many local pharmacies in our community are ready to provide COVID-19 vaccination services. With their trained professionals and convenient locations, pharmacies offer an accessible and efficient option for receiving your COVID-19 vaccine. Check with your nearest pharmacy for availability and scheduling information. Protect yourself and your loved ones by taking advantage of this convenient resource.

  • Primary Care Physicians' Offices: Trustworthy Guidance and Care

Your primary care physician's office can be an excellent resource for COVID-19 vaccination. Reach out to your healthcare provider to inquire about their vaccine services. They may either offer the vaccine on-site or provide you with information on nearby facilities where you can receive it. With their expertise and personalized care, primary care physicians play a vital role in ensuring your overall well-being, including vaccination against COVID-19.

  • Urgent Care Centers: Quick and Reliable Vaccination Support

Some urgent care centers in our community are equipped to administer COVID-19 vaccinations. If you prefer a walk-in option or require immediate access to the vaccine, consider visiting an urgent care facility. Contact them in advance or check their website for information on availability and vaccination procedures. Urgent care centers provide timely and efficient services, making it easier for you to prioritize your health and stay protected against COVID-19.

Even though the state-funded COVID-19 vaccination site has concluded its operations, it is imperative that we remain proactive in our fight against the pandemic. By staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccines, we can collectively contribute to the safety and well-being of our community. Local pharmacies, primary care physician's offices, and urgent care centers are ready to assist you in getting vaccinated. Remember to stay informed about vaccine availability and updates from local health authorities.

At the City of Danbury Department of Health and Human Services, we prioritize the health and safety of our community. Together, let's continue to protect ourselves and one another by staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations.
