2013 DATES ANNOUNCED FOR
SATURDAYS WITH THE MAYOR
FIRST MEETING DAY IS FEBRUARY 16th 10am to 12noon
Mayor Mark Boughton is pleased to announce a new year of once a month, open discussions with Danbury residents regarding our community. Saturdays with the Mayor will take place every third Saturday of the month at City Hall in the Mayor’s Office from 10am to 12noon.
The first opportunity to visit the Mayor on a Saturday will be February 16th. Saturdays with the Mayor will run from February through June with a break in July and August and return from September through November.
Mayor Boughton explained, “I would like to extend this invitation to any residents with concerns and ideas regarding our city, or those who would simply like to stop in and say hello. Our residents are a source of suggestions, compromises and solutions to many of Danbury’s challenges and I am looking forward to meeting with them.”
Open hours at city hall have been increasingly well attended for several years. No appointments are taken for Saturday meetings. Residents can speak to the Mayor on a first-come-first-serve basis.
2013 Scheduled Saturdays with the Mayor are:
February 16 – 10am – 12noon September 21
March 16 October 19
April 20 – no gathering – Clean City Danbury Day November 16
May 18 December & January- Break for winter
June 15
July & August – break for the Summer
