Recently the law firm of Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith hosted a holiday gathering at the downtown law firm in support of the Greater Danbury Hispanic Center.  The Center began facing financial difficulties last year and the event was quickly organized to assure that the Center could continue providing programs and services to the community.

Mayor Mark Boughton said, “The services provided by the Hispanic Center in Danbury are important to the Greater Danbury community and I am proud to see our City come together to assist the center in its time of need.”

The gathering of over 250 guests raised nearly $17,000. In attendance were various local and State Elected Officials, as well as community and business leaders.  In addition, local businesses also donated their services and time for the event and in support of the cause.

“Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith has for over fifty-five years proudly supported the entire Danbury Community.  The Hispanic Center provides essential services to our downtown and we are honored by the response of the community on behalf of the Hispanic Center.” explained Agostinho J. Ribeiro, Managing Partner of Ventura, Ribeiro & Smith
