Danbury Parks and Recreation is offering you that opportunity. The City of Danbury invites you to complete an application to be considered for joining their Summer Staff! The City has a variety of Enjoyment Employment opportunities in Parks and Recreation such as:

• Lifeguards (must have life guard certification)
• Ticket Attendants
• Camp Counselors
• Spray Park Attendants
• Playground Director
• Site Director
• Water Safety Instructors (must have swimming experience)

Lifeguards, Ticket Attendants, Spray Park Attendants, Water Safety Instructors and Camp Counselors must be: at least 16 years of age at the time of hire and a full time student.

The Playground Director and Site Directors must be: An Education Major, Teacher’s Aide, or Certified Teacher.

The Safe Summer and Summer Playground Programs will run from June 30^th through July 25, 2008. Swim lessons will end August 8^th.
